MICKEY ON A BREAK AT “NO PLACE”

The creation depicts a scene in “No Place,” a space without walls, a floor, a ceiling, or any reference points to define it. Objects within this space seem to diminish in size as they move further away – there is no perspective and no defining characteristic to delineate the spatial surroundings. Despite this absence, there exists a three-dimensionality and depth, created through an exploration of “air” as a material.

“Mickey on a break at No Place” presents Mickey in a different light than we are accustomed to seeing. It illustrates the moment when each of us, in the “No Place,” takes off all the external layers and masks, gazing inward at ourselves. “No Place” also signifies our failure to give space to this personal moment of introspection, where we strip away all pretenses and look within, facing ourselves.    |  PRINT.  1/1  “Mix media”,  40X40 cm |
